The Kibo Scalp Treatment Series contains Japanese sake ingredients. Japan has the world’s second largest cosmetics market. Japanese hair care products tend to focus on harnessing the benefits of simple yet powerful ingredients.

The ingredients are traditionally simple, toxin-free and made from natural extracts based on different age group, type of scalp and hair damage.

The Kibo range of products we developed doesn’t  contain the 5 kinds of harmful ingredients found in other hair treatments, such as: sodium lauryl sulfate (SLES), silicone resin, parabens, methylisothiazolinone (MIT), colorants and mineral oil.

Oily Scalp

Green Tea Extract

Green tea helps with fighting free radicals, producing bioflavonoids and disrupting bacterial growth and has shown to be able to stimulate hair growth and balancing scalp sebum.

EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate) lowers lipid levels and is anti-androgenic, making it effective at reducing sebum (oil) excretions on the scalp.

Dry & Sensitive Scalp

Natto Extract

Native to Japan, this is a super moisturizing ingredient, but can also maintain significant long-term moisturizing effect of the product.

Increases hair strength and elasticity with good antistatic effect; prevents tangled knots and improves hair styling. Reduces itchy scalp.

Infused with Natural Extracts

Sake Lees

Sake lees (Sake-kasu) are the white solid that remains after squeezing sake. Rich in Vitamin B2 and Amino Acids which help to protect,
supply nutrient and moisturize the scalp.

Tea Tree Oil

Reduces the highly common itchy scalp and soothes inflammation, which is caused by scratching and psoriasis.

Ginger Oil

Soothes dryness and itchiness, and enhances healthier hair growth by stimulating and improving circulation to the scalp.
